is it possible to share only designated cameras? I have the 16 channel nvr and 6 exterior cameras that I share with distant family. I would like to add 2 interior cameras and would not like to share those.

@septembro_981870812057820 With standard NVR setups, you generally can't share individual cameras connected directly to the NVR. It's an "all or nothing" share. This is because the NVR considers them as one device.

However, if the camera is not under the control of the NVR since it is not plugged directly into it, then you shall have two instances of the camera, one under the NVR (assuming you've added it to the NVR) and one standalone. You can't share the NVR one by itself but you can share the standalone one.

@joseph_1979 thanks for the response. would you mind providing a little more clarification please. in the end, I will have 3 wifi cameras recording to the nvr and all others wired and I didnt bother setting up the all poe's with passwords, so some have 2 instances and some don't. In this scenario, would the solution (if I didnt want anyone but me to access the nvr) be to get all the info from the back of the cameras, and set them up for the second instance and then share that info with those I chose?

@septembro_981870812057820 You can share individual cameras which are not directly connected to the NVR. Let's consider the WIFI cams. Using Reolink application, add a guest account on the camera and share this account with the UID of the camera.
