RLC420 question

Hi, I am new to the forum and also for the world of surveillance cameras. Got a few of the RLC420 installed at my house but I am facing some issues with image quality at night time. Attached below in an output of one of my cameras and one of my issues is with the IR illuminators where one camera is picking up the IR from the other camera and it is affecting the image pretty bad. Can this be corrected in the camera setting (software side) or I have to physically move/adjust the camera? The other issue is the white bright cloud like image I am getting in the camera is that the reflection from the IR's?

You are correct in your analysis. A bright light or IR illuminator from another camera that is directly visible to a camera will adversely affect the image. Your camera needs to be pointed down and to the right. That will take the other camera out of the picture as well as the reflection from the white eaves. You would not lose any useful coverage, and would actual gain some more useful coverage. I have seen advice from Reolink about how to position cameras for night vision, but (alas) cannot find a link to it right now. Will it have any impact, if you "mask" that other camera as a "private" area? (Black Rectangle)?

Well, most likely auto-balancing will be applied before areas are blacked out, so most likely not.
But just a few clicks, so worth testing.
