Playback - merge sources?

Currently i'm doing some tests with a single camera, but one thing, that immediately came to my attention:

The Playback Feature is quite nice, allowing to view the streams of 4 cameras at the same time.

However, my plans are to deploy the cameras with only a "little" of local storage (say 4 GB), and save everything
on a FTP-Enabled NAS.

So, it would be a nice feature, if the client software would allow to browse this data as well - not only footage stored
on the cameras SD.

Best option would be to allow FTP as well as Network-shares as "Data-Source" and merge the stored files with the streams actually stored on the camera.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. But we hope to make the client be a light and easy software with basic control for the cameras. Adding some other features will increase the usage on your PC and it is not good for the client to hold more cameras.
