I recently bought this system and so far I am not impressed with company claiming to have simple set up. I had all cameras connected and mounted but when I went in and changed the wifi password and clicked apply, they all vanished and will not reconnect. I made sure they were all checked like the screen said. Does this mean I have to unmounted each one and bring it to an Ethernet cable to attached back to the dvr? What a bunch of pointless trouble. Plus, when they were connected, I never was able to connect them to see on my cell phone unless I was connected to the home network. Can anyone help me with these issues or did I waste my money?
Dear Customer,Is it wireless system? Did you change the password in below step?1.Have all cameras seen in live view, which means the cameras have connected to the system. 2.Change the password:3. Click Apply and there will pop up the WARNING page below:4. Click OK and the cameras will be listed to SYNC the password to the NVR in below page:Complete the SYNC, the camera will reconnect to the system again. However, if the cameras have not connceted to the NVR, and you changed the password, it can not connect to it anymore as the cameras have SYNC the original SSID and password of the NVR. If so, please reset your NVR in SYSTEM-->MAINTANENCE-->RESTORE and check(this will be ok when none of the cameras were online before your changed the password).
Ok, but they were online before I synced the new password. Still do this?
Ok, I did that and nothing changed. I guess I will have to connect to each camera again and start the entire process from the beginning. Even when they were all connected I could not view them remotely from my cell phone when I wasn't at home. I had a Zmodo syste that worked perfectly in the remote viewing but this one is more difficult.
Dear Customer,Sorry that, there might be some misunderstanding of your problem. We supposed you changed WIFI NVR SSID password and the cameras could not connect to the NVR.Is your problem viewing remotely? If yes, please kindly download the latest firmware of RLN4-210W from https://reolink.com/firmware for upgrading of the NVR.There is the instruction together with the firmware.
Dear Customer,Good Day. Is the system working well now?
I finally got them online to view remotely by port forwarding and upgrading from the link you gave me. The cameras would not upgrade through the Upgrade IPC but I did get the system to upgrade though Upgrade using Local. I am not sure what worked but one of the two worked. Now I am having an issue with the cameras dropping signal periodically. Not all of them but different ones at different intervals. They have a great signal and the one that is further away doesn't have the issues...wierd

I have tried it with my gmail account and my ymail account...any suggestions there?
