RLC-410 disc space usage in day / night mode

Hello altogether,
I have a question concerning my Reolink RLC-410. I am using a Synology NAS with the surveillance app to record the camera stream. I have only one recording profile for 24/7 and however, a 30min video clip taken at daylight is only 500-600MB while the "same" stream at night time needs 1.86GB of disc space. Does anyone know the reason for this and maybe how I can change that? In addition, the quality of the night time streams is extremely poor while at daylight it is sharp. 2 screenshot taken out of video streams are attached.
