The Hikvision cameras have a way to detect motion detection tiggers (and other IO triggers) using an HTTP command.

      PUT to http://<camera ip>/IO/outputs/1/trigger

granted it isnt for all models, but something similar would be useful.
I'm integrating cameras into my smarthome and wanted to check if there is motion detected, and use it in conjuction with other sensors... eg
motion on patio cam and the bifold are open and someone is home (presence detection because of phone location)... therefore ignore the alert!

Someone triggers the drive camera and then the side gate is opened; start taking photos on the side enterance camera and patio camera.

This then makes the use of the motion sensor more usable.

I have no idea how Hikvision got a real time trigger on HTTP to work, I am assuming we poll on a frequent basis, but if it can work, it would be a great addition to home automation and security... actually it could be a great product differentiator if you provided the connections or worked with communities to build the (software) devices.

Sorry that Reolink cameras don't support HTTP command yet. But i will forward your request to R&D engineers and they will consider in the future plan. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
