Dome vs Bullet cameras?

Domes seem to be consistently more expensive than their comparable bullet version. Why the cost difference? Can dome cameras be mounted on a vertical surface or only horizontal? Other pro/con thoughts about bullet vs dome other than the cost and slight difference in field of view?

Hi, except for the appearance, the viewing angle of the bullet and the dome cameras are also different.

And you may mount the camera vertically, but it's suggested to mount it horizontally.
