I've had a RLC-410-5MP which has been happily recording video for several months onto a SD card, and onto a Synology NAS (with Surveillance Station). About a week ago it stopped recording onto the SD card. I can view the live stream using the mobile or desktop app, but I never get any new recordings under the Plackback section even though I know it has triggered (I get an email notification and I can see the recording on my NAS).It has a 60GB SD card in it, which currently has 8GB free. I have rebooted the camera. Still not working. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong? There are around 86,000 video clips on the card - have I hit some sort of limit? (Overwriting is enabled in the camera setup)Thanks for any help,Michael
I reformatted the SD card using the Reolink mobile app and now recording is working again. I suspect I had hit a limit on the number of files.
The video files should be overwritten automatically. When the SD card stop recording, you may take out the SD card and insert it to your PC then check if you can still copy video files into it. And for the camera, you may try to upgrade the firmware. If the problem persists, you may send a request to Reolink support, and they will help to check this issue.https://reolink.zendesk.com/agent/
Thanks for the reply. It's not easy to take the SD card out as the camera is mounted high up, so I didn't do that. I'll update the firmware though. Thanks,Michael
