Hi All,I was hoping I could get some help setting up my cameras. The NVR is currently working with two reolink brand cameras. I also have some spare ONVIF compatible cameras, which work with things link ONVIF apps on android, but for some reason the Reolink NVR doesn't seem to be able to connect (even though ONVIF is an option in the UI). The NVR correctly detects these cameras on the network but claims invalid password (the password is not invalid). The NVR is the 5MP RLN16-410. The cameras are jennov bullet cameras, hardware label is MSTAR_IPNC. Again these cameras work flawlessly with android apps such as "onvifer".My second question would be, does anyone have an example of PoE cameras, that are not reolink brand, that work with this NVR?Thanks for any help.
Hi Abe. Could you please report this issue to the support team: support@reolink.com? Or send us a request in link here https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.Our support team will help you solve it soon. Thanks.
Hi Cynthia,I already have spoken to support but unfortunately got a very generic answer which didn't mean much. They told me if the camera supports ONVIF it should work. That's why I'm here asking for, hopefully, better help.
Worth noting the cameras also work with Blue Iris
Hi, the NVR needs the camera password to add the camera, if it shows the "PWD Invalid" in the IP channel page, could you please try to manually input the camera password to see if it works? If there is still any problem, you may contact Reolink Support Team to see if there are any possible reasons.
