How come does a lower FPS not reduce the file size?

      Hi all.

I'm new in the IP-Cam world.
I've connected two Reolink RLC-520 IP-CAMs to a Synology NAS.

The camera is a 5MP version with 2-30 FPS.

My intention is to reduce the file size by reducing the FPS from 30 to a lower number, but the file sizes remain roughly the same.
I can see that the file size seems to roughly match the bitrate (e.g. 8Mb/s = 1MB/s).
I simply cannot understand why a 5MP 2-FPS video also "needs" 8Mb/s, when a 5MP 30-FPS requires the same. There's something wrong with that.

So, at the moment, I achieve no major file size reduction by lowering the FPS.

Can anyone help me with some tips and tricks?

It doesn't lessen the record size to 1/4 in light of the fact that most video documents likewise store sound, and decreasing video goal doesn't change the measure of capacity required for the sound segment. I used it in my previous company now I left this company because I got the best opportunity to play online casinos at https://gamblizard.com/casinos/fabulous-bingo-bonus/ website, I also got the fabulous bingo promo code from my friend which was very helpful for me to give an amazing startup.
