Hi all,Just purchased and installed the RLC-423 but struggling to find the most recent firmware. The Hardware number takes me here, but these are all for a RLC-422.This page has the RLC-423 firmware, but there are three options and the one i tried didnt work. Concerned of bricking camera so would be grateful for a steer. Thanks
Hello, the new firmware for RLC-423 is in testing. We can only push the new firmware to your camera after we finish the test to make sure there is no problem with it. So please kindly wait for one or two weeks before we push you the new firmware version. Thank you very much for your understanding!
Also, please clarify why RLC-423 Hardware Version IPC_51516M5M camera is always being listed under HW 51316M if at all.
Hi, there. May I know if you refer to the following pic?423.png
Thanks for replying Cynthia, my problem is I can't find the right firmware link for the RLC-423 - hasn't there been an update since it was launched? - not a problem if not but at least I can stop my search and the risk of bricking the camera:)Where did you find that screen shot? will that download the latest firmware? The hardware code takes you to a page, but they are all RLC-422 models. This page has the right model number but the wrong hardware.Just a friendly suggestion, the Reolink website is really nice, but I think the firmware page could be made more user friendly. It's a bit confusing, if there are no firmware updates, it would be good to see the camera model number with a photo and be told no updates yet released. The actual sales page has no links direct to the firmware, this would be helpful
Hello Cynthia, thanks for responding so quickly!I have never seen the listing your pic shows. Unfortunately, you did not provide the link to the page where I might do some research.Gale has also replied very quickly to my support ticket email, with the news that my camera is running the latest firmware, and gave me a progress report on replacing Flash in the near future. Thanks again.-PhilScreenshot-2020-10-18-at-01.14.56.png
