Distorted footage over FTP

Hi,

I initially had my RLC 410 set to email 30s of video footage upon motion detection - the detection worked well, but the video files were heavily distorted when viewed in VLC Player, and unplayable in Quicktime. I just upgraded to the latest firmware, and this appears to have completely fixed the problem (now have smooth undistorted playback in VLC and Quicktime).

Today I configured the camera to email 30s of footage via email (as it had been doing so already), but also to upload the high definition footage to my FTP server. The low quality email footage is fine, but the high definition footage that was uploaded to the FTP server is very heavily distorted, in a similar manner to how the previous email footage was distorted.

Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong? I have the footage available to send to someone at Reolink for analysis if necessary.

I have the Reolink RLC-422 with the latest update. I am having the same problem with FTP. The video files are only 162kb and in Color mode they are cut off or grayed out. I tried resetting all setting, change bitrate etc... nothing helped. In email i can get clear photos and videos but not on FTP.

Another question: is it possiable to do pre & Post recording with RLC-422 it does not have SDcard.

Reolink please assist with this issue.

I am having the same problem with FTP in color mode photos are cut off, Photos are fine in B/w mode but not in color. Videos do not work in color or black and white mode. All videos are 162kbs. Email works fine with Videos and Phots in color mode but not IN FTP. I am attaching a copy of the video.

I would like to know does my camera have ability to do Pre and Post-recording? my camera does not have SDcard.
