I bought three Reolink cameras in the last month, Argus PT, E1 Pro, Argus 3. I downloaded the Android app, installed the cameras. They've been working great and I like them. But this afternoon, for some reason the on/off Camera Recording button on all three cameras quit working. I get a "failed to load. Click to retry again" message. I click, and get the same message. All the other functions and settings seem to be working okay. The PIR button works, etc. I tried to restore and reboot the cameras and it didn't help. Anyone know what happened and how to fix this? I hope I don't have to uninstall the app and reinstall the app all the cameras. Thanks.

Oops I misspelled buttons in title, tried to edit it but the edit button went away. Maybe this site only allows one edit or there's a time limit to edit. Seems like I'm having problems with buttons everywhere. This is my first topic post.

            Thanks Cynthia,
I tried again to uninstall app and cameras. The On/Off Camera Recording button still does not work. At least they are stuck in the On position so the cameras can record. I submitted a service ticket. I have the latest app version 4.24.2.5.

                Hi Cynthia,
I uninstalled the latest app version 4.24.1.5 and downloaded the older version 4.24.1.4. The camera recording On/Off buttons work again. I hope Reolink does not automatically update the app on my phone to the newest version until they fix this bug. I'll let you know if the On/Off buttons stop working again. Thanks. Mark

Well Cynthia, what I stated in my last post happened. Overnight Reolink updated my app from 4.24.1.4 back to 4.24.1.5. I woke up and the On/Off camera record buttons do not work again! I assume you should know Reolink updates app versions. Why would you tell me to use an older version when in less than 24 hours it's gone? How long did you think I'd have the old version before Reolink took it away? Total waste of my time. Please tell your engineers to fix the app before you upset more users. I'll count how many hours/days it takes Reolink to fix this.

Above I mean 4.24.2.5 and 4.24.2.4. Wish this site allowed users to edit posts after they log off then log back in. Reolink did not ask permission to update the app, they did it overnight so I could not say no to the update.

Sorry I typed the wrong old version its 4.24.1.4. Again, why doesn't this forum allow users to edit their posts for say, 24 hours so they can correct mistakes? Once logged off the post seems to be locked forever. I am on numerous other forums and they let you edit posts for at least 24 hours, no matter how many times the user logs on/off. In both the app and my phone I can't find where I can block Reolink from updating the app to the flawed new version.

                        Hi Cynthia,
Reolink programmers updated the app and the On/Off buttons work good again. Thank you for responding to my post and thank the programmers for fixing the bug in just a few days.
