      Notifications not working on Android. It keeps saying operation failed every time I try to toggle on the notifications. I have 13 cameras and a combination of NVR, POE, Solar and WiFi. All cameras are different types as well. Does Reolink know about this problem? Is this a widespread issue? Has anyone else had this issue recently? I tried resetting the phone and app. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. I've tried going back to the previous app version as well. Nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated.

          Same issue here, Android phone with NVR, POE, WiFi. Seemed to suddenly stop working this week, and impossible to re-enable in the app. Just keeps saying "Operation Failed" and toggles back off. Extremely frustrating how bad the client/app experience is despite the cameras themselves working quite well.

            @keoni_704774566166725 Push notification stopped working yesterday. I have 1 doorbell camera and 2 outdoor cameras and 1 indoor camera all are set to with push notification on. I tried many times to toggle push notification on/off it shows (operation failed) every time.

            Clearing the cache and data for the app might resolve any corrupted files that are causing the issue. @ Friday Night Funkin

                After clearing the app data, log out and log back in to your Reolink account in the app. @ That's Not My Neighbor

                        @user_855873665142929_855873665142929 Try to check whether from your network you can do a DNS query to pushx . reolink . com. Moreover try to restore one of the cameras and check again.

                          I have the same Problem since few days. Both cameras can not send push notifications. In my android app I always get an error, when clicking on push menue item. I deleted/restarted both cameras, added again, also reinstalled app and added cameras again but still same issue. The DNS query works: {"status":{"code":1,"detail":"Specific API doesn't exist."}}

                            @martin_870571019083950 Try to restore one camera. If it is a WIFI camera, all parameters are set to their default value with the exception of the WIFI configuration.

                            Do you have another smartphone? If yes install Reolink appl and enable push notification.

                            In 5 years I had two occasions when push notification failed, And in both cases this was due to maintenance work being performed on their message application handler server.

                              Because of my new account I can only post 1 reply every 24h...
                              Restored but had still the same issue. I also tried on my iPad and iPhone of my wife. Same issue there.

                              Before this issue I was able to enable push in the menue with a toggle. But now it always shows an error. The app permissions for notifications are enabled in app settings.

                                @martin_870571019083950 Did you upgrade the cameras? Did you made any changes to the router?

                                  @martin_870571019083950 Did you manage to solve the issue? I'm on the same boat since I got my new phone yesterday. Enabling push notifications on my new phone throws the exact same error as you had, while my old phone (still connected to the same wifi) still gets the notifications.

                                    In case anyone is stumbling about this issue in the future: Got it solved by disabling my private DNS in the android settings.
