Is it just me, or is the new "HTML5" web user interface on the camera reliant on flash for showing video?

Is there a way to use the HTML5 native H264 support that's built into most modern browsers?

Not just you. I was also disappointed to see the reliance on flash for any features that involve live video. I've disabled flash on most of my machines.

Hello~ The HTML5 in cameras is a new feature we develop and we are still working on to get it more user friendly. For now we still need the Flash for the video.

Thank you for your support for Reolink products.

Is there any update on when we might see an update that removes the need for flash?

Adobe have now announced that flash is dying in 2020:

              http://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/07/25/flash_nahuh_internets_screen_door_gone_for_good_by_2020/

This is a pretty big deal as reolink camera's now rely on flash.

Can reolink please confirm that a firmware update that moves to an entirely html5 ui (ie. removes the need for flash or plugins) for all reolink cameras? If not I think we need to start warning people against using reolink cameras as they'll become unusable in 2.5 years.

Yes, I just wanted to post this news to REOLINK.
We definitely need HTML5 in the upcoming firmware.
