False motion detection when IR switches on/off

Hi,

I've noticed that there is a "false" motion detection event whenever the IR leds / IR cut on the camera switch on/off at dawn/dusk.

Is there a way to get the camera firmware to ignore brightness changes at the moment it enables/disables the IR?

Hi Joseph,

The original design for the camera is triggering motion detection whenever the image changes (including light changes) and it can't be turned off.

Yeah this is a real issue for me. Email alerts are largely useless with this happening.
