      Good day.
      We’ve recently received several reports about users not receiving email alerts from Outlook/hotmail. This is due to a recent service change—starting from September 16th, Basic Authentication is no longer available for accessing Outlook/hotmail accounts.
      To avoid missing important alerts, we recommend switching to Gmail to receive notifications. If you have other problems, feel free to ask us in the comments.

          @reolink-daisy This is not a real solution, as it does not address the underlying problem. Simply switching to Gmail may avoid the issue temporarily, but it does not resolve the core problem related to Basic Authentication being disabled for Outlook/Hotmail. A more effective approach would involve updating the Reolink app to work with the current authentication protocols, ensuring users can continue receiving alerts regardless of their email provider. Is this planned?

            @iulian-tatarcan_132045030453418 I did ask Reolink for this too. It should be transparent to customers. Didn't get any feedback.

            Same problem with me. I rely on these Email's as they make up an important part of my security plan.
