Hi. I am considering getting a Reolink Lumos. The option of Storage on the SD card works well for me. But I would like to understand if I can view videos stored on the card on the phone app from anywhere? it doesn’t have to be on the same wifi network as the camera?just not sure how this works exactly... I understand how the app can retrieve the cloud storage from wherever this data is stored... but not sure how the app can get to the cameras SD card data from anywhere.I need to be able to retrieve this data from anywhere and even within my home as the camera will be on a 2.4 wifi network and the phone on a 5ghz wifi network. Thanks
Hello friend, yes, you can view videos stored on the micro SD card via Reolink App or Reolink Client from anywhere. It does not have to be on the same wifi network as the camera. So if your phone is connecting to a 5Ghz wifi, you can retrieve the recordings of the camera via Reolink App.
