Hi folks,I received a brand new E1 Zoom and updated it to the latest available firmware.Unfortunately the camera has some serious problems with my WIFI setup.I'm using an AVM Fritzbox 7530 with two wire-connected wlan MESH repeater (AVM MESH 1750E).All three wlan APs (router + two mesh repeater) provide 2,4 and 5 Ghz wlan.About my problem:The E1 Zoom camera is just 3 meters in direct line of sight away from mesh repeater. Ideal conditions for a safe and stable connection I would think. Every other device (tablet, notebook smartphone) connects with more than 800 Mbits to this access point.Unfortunately the camera connects with a very low bitrate to the repeater (21 Mbit in 2.4 Ghz for example). The connected Synology surveillance station isn't able to keep up a 2 Mbit stream withoud disconnects after about a minute. The webinterface of the e1 zoom shows just two wlan bars - something that is impossible at just 3 meters with a well known mesh repeater like my AVM 1750e.There's no workload on the wlan network and just 3 other networks around. Any ideas?
Hi, you can try to disable the mesh tech. And then connect the camera to the wifi and see if it can work better.
