      Hello all,

I hope you can advise. I have a 2 month old RLC-410S. It's been operational for about 5/6 weeks. I have a 4 port POE hub and have run an outdoor Cat6 cable to the camera. I have a basic RJ45 crimp tester which shows each pin is connected at each end.

The Camera works flawlessly in terms of live playback. I use IOS on an iPhone or the Mac client to view.

However, recently, I've been unable to access the camera playback for two whole days. Under settings, it doesn't even show an SD card. Iv'e rebooted multiple times and had no success. I believe the firmware is the latest. Today, it's started working again but you can see that it has made no recordings on those two days it didn't see the card.

Has anyone else had a similar experience or can suggest something to try to prevent this happening again?

      Thanks
      David

        Hi,

Sounds a weird problem you have there.. I'm running v2.0.0.843_17061502 on my RLC-410s as I don't like what they've done to the white balance with the latest code.

even if the overwrite got switched off you'd still see the card, or the schedule got screwed it would still be visible.. it looks on the face of it that the SD card went offline for some reason?

I use the cameras web server to access (locally in the same subnet) when i'm doubt as the clients when used remotely give me a few hassles, especially if bandwidth is a problem.

The only thing I can suggest is to re-init the SD card at some point ... but of course all the previous data will get wiped

        Cheers

          Thanks for the reply.

Having the same problem again and getting the same error (although the Mac gives a different response).

Do you know where I can obtain an earlier firmware version to try?

          Thanks

              Thank you

Have downgraded the firmware but still not seeing the SD card. It is weird that it worked for half a day and is now not working again.

It has been raining a lot but I can't see this affecting the camera since every other function is 100% working. Hmm.. A puzzle

Have you tried accessing the camera through its web server locally.. and subsequently re-initialising the SD card.. I think you need to do that if you up or down grade the firmware.. obviously if you cant see it you won't be able to re-init..
