Why do the screws for the angel bracket + Doorbell Bracket have heads that interfere with the latching of the doorbell to the bracket? Am I doing something wrong or were these screws a bad design? I was able to get it to click in place, but the screw head does scratch the backing of the doorbell.

Sorry for the delated reply but this forum blocks new users from posting more than 1 post per day. I guess I better get all my feedback in now to avoid additional delays.

You can see I have a narrow wood trim around the door with recessed Vinal siding next to it. I am forced to use this spot as this is where the 24V doorbell conductors were. So even with the angle bracket, screwing the screws in tilts the install inward.

The round heads on the screw don't leave much room for the doorbell to latch on. Did I use the wrong screw? Since the angle bracket is not mounted flat, it makes it worse.

This is where the screw scratches the back of the doorbell.

A couple other questions on my single allowed post for the day.

            1. The doorbell announces persons detected or vehicle detected at the front door on Alexa. Sometimes this happens at night when we are sleeping. Creepy to hear persons detected at the door at 2:00 AM. I like the detections but how do I turn them off from announcing but still log the detection data? Or do I have to turn the sensitivity for person, vehicle and pet down to zero and loose the detection altogether?
            2. I wish it would have been easy to get a POE Ethernet cable run to the front door. It wasn't do I purchased the Wifi Version. My Reolink App now had the doorbell show as a standalone Wifi device and again as a device in my NVR. Can I set up the app to hide the Wifi instance. It just gets in the way and since recordings are on the NVR, I don't need to confuse the family when they want to view a recording and select the wrong instance.
            3. I have an ASUS Wifi 6 Mesh Router. When I am on 2.4 GHz the doorbell constantly drops the connection but connects to the access point near the doorbell and the signal strength is very strong. When I set it to connect to 5 GHz the doorbell seems to want to connect to an access point that is further away and the signal is very weak (but the connection is stable and does not drop). I know that the 5 GHz band is better for short distances and wondering why it never connects to the closest access point. I do use the same name for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and that used to cause issues for my ecobee thermostat. Could that be causing problems with the doorbell?

            Thanks
