Reolink RLC 511 recording options

Good Morning,

I have now ordered the Reolink RLC 5-11 camera, only there is a problem, the shooting possibilities ...

I had a normal arlo (HD) so far and there was a cloud that automatically took up motion for a maximum of 7 days with video preview and direct viewing (without having to download the video), you could in the self developed app from Arlo via PC as well watch over mobile phone.

With Reolink there is no cloud, there is only the possibility to use an SD card (but is spiteful, if a burglar / someone breaks the camera / decreases / the SD card removed, I have nothing more, just as maximum 64GB) and thus only FTP remains.

I have set up a free unlimited FTP at Infinityfree.com. What is even worse here, you can not watch the videos directly, that is, I have to download each time the whole videos (there is also no video preview)

I can also record 24 hours 7 days all the time, but what is the point if I do not know when a movement took place? You do not watch the recording 24 hours a day (you can watch the livestream right there)

Likewise I have to do the whole then only over the ftp, the Reolink Apps / programs I need then in principle no more. (can not you tie that together?)

Likewise, only the motion detection is recorded, which has always bothered me because either either is not even recorded despite movement or too late, this is too early stopped recording ...

How do you do that / everyone else? Is it totally awkward or not? Is the only solution an SD card? The SD card would be like a cloud, just very uncertain ...

Since the cloud is not available with the RLC-511 right now, but i would forward your request to our R&D team to follow up whether we can add more cameras into cloud in the future, if you have any other concerns please report the issue to support@reolink.com, they will help you out, thank you!
