    Reolink Argus Eco Very Poor Wifi Range

      I ordered a second Reolink Argus Eco recently. I have one already installed near our side door, roughly 50 feet (and 3 walls) away from the router. It has functioned flawlessly, so I ordered a second to use on our front porch, roughly 25 feet (and 2 walls) from the router.

      The second camera, however, will not set up unless it's in the same room as the router and loses connection when moved outside that room. I have upgraded the firmware which seemed to speed up connections within the room, but again when moved more than 12 feet (and one wall) from the router, the camera cannot sustain a connection or a feed.

      Am I missing something here? Again, I have the identical camera operating just fine, but this one can't connect at half the distance or through a single wall. Should this particular camera be returned/exchanged?

        In that case, please try to change the wireless channel on your router.
        Generally speaking, Argus Eco should have better Wi-Fi capacity since it uses external antenna.
        Please adjust the antenna on the camera to help to improve the Wi-Fi signal.

          I ordered a second Reolink Argus Eco now. I have one already installed near our side door, about 50 feet (with 3 wall) away from the router. It worked seamlessly, I instructed the couple to use it on our front porch, about 25 meters (with 2 walls) from the router. The second camera, however, will not set up unless it is in the same room with the router and disconnects the connection when moving out of the room. I have upgraded the firmware that seems to speed up communication within the room, but also when moving more than 12 feet (with one wall) to the router, the camera cannot maintain connection or meal. Do I miss something? I ordered some assignments to him. Also, I have the same camera that works fine, but this one can't connect to half the distance or one wall. Should this camera be changed?
