How ColorX Technology Turn Night into Day
Reolink App v4.43 Released
Hello, I've bought two RLC-511 PoE cameras and I've put a 64GB sd card in them.(google "64GB Premium microSDXC Memory Card with Adapter, UHS-I V10 U1 Cl[censored] 10" on verbatim website)These cards came pre-formatted (exFAT I [censored]ume) and work fine in computer. The cameras do recognize I've put sd cards inside, however, they are unable to write onto them. The cameras are unable to format saying "format successful" but after reboot the issue presists.Attached screenshots from both, android app and browser.Firmware version v22.214.171.124_20121803How can I get them working?Screenshot_20210207_205815.pngWhatsApp-Image-2021-02-07-at-20.41.18.jpeg
Please note that the camera can only use SD cards in FAT32 format. Please format the SD card to FAT32 and try again.
Hi Emsy,Read what I have written in this post.https://reolink.com/topic/e1-zoom-incompatible-64gb-microsd-or-fault/#post-1295967
I have had the same issue with Kingston Endurance 64GB (SDCE/64GB). Impossible to format in the Reolink camera. I have RLC-511W & Lumus cameras.RLC-511W identifies that there are a memorycard inserted, Lumus dosent.Windows it self can´t format 64GB memorycards as FAT32, with the Windows program Ridgecrop FAT32 GUI format (Can´t add full url here but similar to: ridgecrop_co_uk _index_htm?guiformat_htm ) I could format the Kingston Endurance to FAT32 and then it is possible to use it in the camera, but still impossible to format there. So I ordered a SanDisk High Endurance 64GB (SDSQQNR-064G-GN6IA) and that one works like it should. Formattable in the cameras.”Just for fun” I also ordered a SanDisk 128GB (SDSQQNR-128G-GN6IA) and that one also works with formatting in the camera, and also saves the video to it.Probably the SanDisk High Endurande 256GB & 512GB also works, but I haven´t tested them.So either there are som kind of differences between memorycard manufacturers. Or just some incompatibility/bug in the Reolink camera firmware that you (Reolink) should take a closer look at.BrFredrikSweden
