      I have 3 Argus 2 cameras that I bought not long ago, but I have seen bad reviews and am experiencing poor motion detection myself. I tried moving my cameras around, but keep either getting false alarms or cars at one angle and then if I move it back towards the house I can barely get a detection within 10 feet. Also have heard good things about the Eco having better motion detection. Has anyone bought the Eco's and had good luck? I was thinking of maybe trading mine in for Eco's if I keep having such bad motion detection from the Argus 2's.

        Sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. The false alert issue may be related to the position you install this camera and the sensitivity you set. You can refer to this article trying to avoid the false alert, refer to How to Avoid False Alerts on Reolink Cameras. If the camera still can't get an accurate detection, please send an email to support@reolink.com for further assistance. Thanks.

            Thanks! Looking forward to hearing how they work for you. Hopefully yours don't take over a week to come in like mine. I'm still having issues with very late motion detections to where I can't see someone that walked right in front of my Argus 2's or it will randomly pick up a moving branch or flower that is 20 feet away. I did yesterday for some reason somehow pick up some people walking on my sidewalk. Seems weird when that is probably 30 feet away and my girlfriend walked maybe 15 feet in front of the camera at our front door this morning and got about 15 steps in before it finally picked her up.

                For Argus 2 my experience is that you can get the farthest motion detection if you align your camera to look straight forward. If you set it to look down a little bit you will make it detect to a shorter distance. Also if you tilt it a little bit to right or left as it looks straight forward it also can help. The maximum I can get in this way is 9m this is still poor performance in some conditions.
                For Argus Eco the motion sensor is much better but its video quality is not as good as Argus 2 it has not get starlight night vision and it seems it compress the video much better loosing quality.
                Argus 2 with Argus Eco's PIR sensor would be a better product. Maybe Argus 3 will be this product 🙂 Or if reolink can solve if one argus pir sensor triggers the other one or a separate motion sensor which you can put whenever you want would do the trick.

                  Sorry for the inconvenience caused. To a large extent, motion detection related to the place you install the camera. You can adjust the installation position to obtain better motion detection. You can click to learn more about the installation tips. Thank you for your patience.

                    Hi had my eco for 3 weeks and the the motion detection is far superior. had a argus pro for a while and motion detection was pretty weak. lifehackster has a full review on the argus eco on youtube. that's why I brought mine very impressed
