The 8-port NVR is stuck on the ATTENTION screen for over 60 minutes.

I am attempting to upgrade to firmware: HI3535_NVR_8IP_REOLINK_L300_1104_4153_1418 from USB.

I used the same USB stick to upgrade the firmware on the RLC-410 cameras and that worked fine.  But the Warning screen:

      ATTENTION

      1. Update will take a few minutes, please wait!

      2. After finished NVR will reboot automatically!

      3. During upgrading, don't POWER-OFF or REBOOT.

      Otherwise, NVR may not work!

      Updating  Don't POWER-OFF or REBOOT!

(I am running the October firmware version.  Sorry I don't have the specific version... The NVR is stuck on the upgrade for the above pak file version.)

Thank you - I waited (actually had something to eat) came back... It completed! 🙂

Estimated upgrade time 1 hour 15 min.

          Thank you. 🙂

          Full system 7 RLC410 + 1 C1 🙂

            Hi borealnvr

            Glad problem solved.
And thank you for your feedback and support very much.

May I ask is it possible you can check the last firmware version on your NVR? (if you remember or you still have the old firmware .pak file)
We will report this issue to our R&D to further look into it, so we can see how to avoid more situations like this.

We appreciate it very much if any other information on this issue provided.

                Hello,

I have the same problem as user borealnvr. I also have the 8-port NVR and am currently updating to the HI3535_NVR_8IP_REOLINK_L300_1104_4153_1418 firmware. So far it has been 45 minutes and it is still stuck at the ATTENTION warning.

What should I do? Leave it alone or restart the NVR? Please help.

                  Update:

It took about 55 minutes for the NVR to finally reboot itself (thankfully). Can the R&D team please look into this problem so others won't be affected? My firmware was updated from HI3535_NVR_8IP_REOLINK_L300_0924_4023_1322.

                  Thank you.

                    Hi all

                    Thank you for your feedback.

Please check in NVR interface, path "Device Setting >> system >> system information" and confirm the build number.

If it shows build number is 161104, the upgrade succeed, but it is a issue our R&D need further check to see how we can solve it.
If it shows the old build number, please format USB/change another USB and try upgrade again. Please provide specification of your USB and screenshot(s) if problem continues or upgrade fails.
