Hi,I bought a RLN8-410 without hard disk. Temporarily I am using eSata external drive.I have 2 questions:1) the POE output is 802.3af or 802.3at compliant? I am asking since I have only 1 cable going to the roof and I would like to power 2 cameras. Tried to do it by powering a Netgear GS105PE-10000S from the RLN8 via POE and connecting the 2 outputs to the two cameras: did not work. Is it because each RLN8 can power just 1 camera? Or should I try a different switch with passthrough, like the D-Link DGS-1100-05PD?2) Is it possible to install a 3.5" disk inside? How to do it?Thanks
Hi,If you are using a PoE switch with the NVR rather than powering the cameras directly with the NVR, you are supposed to plug the PoE switch to the router (LAN port) and also plug the NVR to the LAN port of the router. Then you'll the see the cameras powered as well as connected. For installation of a 3.5" hard disk inside the NVR, please refer to https://reolink.com/faq/how-to-expand-the-capacity-of-reolink-nvr/
