Unable to reset NVR admin password

I have tried this:

Im on LIVE viewing... After i hold down reset button i hear the buzzing bee (more like screaming dryer!) - yet no setup wizard pops up prompting to creare new NVR password.
Anyone else have any tips on how to reset this password?

Have you tried turning it on and back off and then pressing the button. I believe when I did my reset I was on the page where I could see my cameras with nothing selected. That seems to be the big thing, hitting the reset button on the right screen.
Apparently there is a program you can run on a PC. But I believe you have to get that through email.

Thanks Laurence! I'll try a powercycle and see if that helps... I requested the "super password" pc app by email and this link to use the reset button was the reply sent back.

If you have followed the instructions on the Reolink FAQ page and the setup wizard is not popping up, there are a few additional steps you can try: drywall repair near me
- Make sure you are pressing and holding the reset button for the appropriate amount of time. According to the Reolink website, you should hold down the reset button for at least 10 seconds until you hear the buzzing sound.
- Try resetting the NVR again, but this time make sure that you disconnect all cameras from the NVR before pressing the reset button. Sometimes the cameras can interfere with the reset process.
- If the above steps do not work, you may need to contact Reolink support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or help you reset the password through other means.
