      Hi,
I have a Reolink NVR (RNL8-410) with multiple Reolink IP cameras attached.
I am integrating it into my Home Automation.
I have been able to use the snap URL - http://192.168.X.Y/cgi-bin/api.cgi?cmd=Snap&channel=0&rs=**CODE**&user=**USR**&password=**PWD** to retrieve images from each of the cameras by altering the channel number in the URL.
I am also trying to use the motion detection URL - http://192.168.X.Y/cgi-bin/api.cgi?cmd=getmdstate&channel=0&user=**USR**&password=**PWD**&stream=1&rs=**CODE**
However, when I try and change either the channel or stream ID in the URL, I seem to only be returned with the motion detection status of the first channel.
      What am I doing wrong?
How can I call the interface of the NVR to find the current motion detection status of each of the channels?
      Thanks
      Dan

        Hi Dan,
Please change the channel number via the URL.
You can change the channel number as per example here:
        http://(ip address)/cgi-bin/api.cgi?cmd=Snap&channel=0(channel number)&rs=(any combination of numbers and letters)&user=(user name)&password=(user password)

            Hi Cynthia,
            Thanks for the reply.
However, the URL I'm asking about is the motion detection URL.
Rather than get a snapshot image of the channel, I would like to know if motion has been detected on that channel.
The URL in my question works, but only for motion on the first channel. Is this a known bug, or am I using the URL incorrectly?
            Thanks
            Dan

Hi, I am afraid that there is no URL about the motion detection.
We have the CGI snapshot and preview or playback URL.
If you need, please send your request to our support team about all the public CGI commands we released.
