Connect an external POE switch to Reolink NVR?

Hello,

Is it possible to connnect an external POE switch (with several cameras connected to it) to the NVR (providing I am still under the max number of channels supported by the NVR)?

The reason I would want to do that is because several cameras are in a different building, so I don’t want to run a separate cable to each camera.

Hi Alex, yes you could connect in that way. But we don't suggest using more than two cameras under one PoE port on the NVR, or the live stream may delay due to the hardware limit on the ports.
