I just wanted to start a discussion so newcomers can easily find out how happy people are with their PoE experience. Are you satisfied or do you regret having purchased them? Are the problems minor or major? Is support good or bad?

Not so long ago, I often searched for answers to questions like, "How to write a critical analysis essay for dummies?" But this site has helped me forget about such basic questions, and now I know more important writing tricks!

@user_606848775635059_606848775635059This rather depends on user requirement. As for everything there is con and pro. In a nutshell,

+ Can provide power to devices
+ Single cable for data and power
+ Backwards compatible with PoE and Non-PoE Devices
            + Reduces overall cost
+ Easy to install and relocate devices
            – PoE Switches are expensive
            – Not suitable for large distances (over 100 meters)

Definitely the way forward is that most devices shall be POE.
