Any one interested in discussing how to stream the Reolink RLC-410WS cam ( the first one I have used and on a trial basis for our homeowners association ) to youtube I would be happy to share how simple it is to do using a free OpenSrc software called Open Broadcaster. I just live streamed the new cam to youtube with a day version and night version - where the cam was set in a temporary location in an ally between our home and our neighbors new construction. Streaming to YouTube is a FREE service by Youtube/Google and a copy of your video is retained on youtube. No charge to view or download any time you need.

      Day version:

      Night Version:

I think I had my desk mike on as unrelated audio of Youtube video I was watching is embeded in the vids..
      Sorry 'bout that.

Hi, I am interested. Are you using RTSP? If so, what address are you using to setup the stream? I use other various encoders, but would like to know what you are using.

            That one line should read:

Under input place this and nothing else: rtsp://username:password@192.168.?.?
            Replace with your CAMS name/password:
            YOURusername:YOURpassword@192.168.?.? (YOUR camera's IP Addy.)

            Hope it didn't confuse you.

I am using Restreamer with my Raspberri Pi 3 and this camera model, with 0 knowledge and some hours reading I can install it; the only problem is that it stops every 9-11 hours, and does not automatically restart the transmission, (but it tries) so it has to be done manually. A pity that the project is abandoned, it is really great and there is nothing similar.

I am streaming my 3 Reolink cameras to YouTube using a Raspberry Pi 3 and ffmpeg. The bad news is that you have to compile ffmpeg on the Pi itself, because there is no installer. The good news is that there are multiple "cookie-cutter" sets of instructions on the internet. The other good news it that, if you set it up correctly, the ffmpeg software does not do any transcoding, and just forwards the RTSP stream to YouTube, so the CPU utilization is very low. I have one Pi forwarding 3 different cameras to 3 different YouTube channels, and it is still mostly idle:

Thanks, I already solved it with PC software, although I must recommend Streamer, which has an excellent job right now, I use it sometimes on my Raspberry Pi 3 and it works great, I love your YouTube broadcast, I must say that I arrived at the rapsberry for a tutorial you had left here, thanks again!

The camera works perfectly thanks; The one that fails is Restreamer, but this one is not for monitoring and recording is only for streaming video. When you combine it with the Raspberry Pi you get it almost as if it were a free PC transmission to Youtube, almost 24/7 except that the transmission is cut every 9-11 hrs 😕

It was only a recommendation, thanks again, the camera works great.
