I have a house and a detached garage. I have 1 cat 6 cable underground connecting the 2 buildings.. If I switch from my Wi-Fi cameras to a reo link system, I want to put 3 on the outside of the garage and 3 on the outside of the house, and the NVR will be in the house. I was thinking I would connect the 3 cameras on my garage to a POE switch in the garage, and connect the cat 6 cable that's running underground from the POE switch to the nvr in the house.. Then of course I would connect the other 3 cameras that are on the house to the back of the NVR.....will this work or are there any other suggestions

@bcfd45_464671899213983 Hello there, may we know how far is your house from the garage? If the distance is longer than 80 meters, it may not work as it is difficult for the PoE switch to transmit data at such a distance.

If it is less than 80 meters, you may set up your system as the image below.

Note: 1. Connect the PoE switch to your router directly with the CAT 6 cable. 2. You will need to power up the PoE switch separately.

Let us know if you have any questions. 🤗
