Good day, we have 5 Reolink GO PT LTE camera's which we haven't activated as of yet. We will be using them on a construction site to monitor traffic at different entry/exit points.
We've been doing research on sim cards and data plans but not being super tech savvy, we are unsure how to proceed. Seems a bit confusing between sim activation, required data (seeing anything from 1gb up to 50gb for 4G). We do know we need to have a lot of cloud storage due to the high traffic which will be captured on a daily basis (may be 10-20 more triggers per camera per day).
I've seen suggestions for Reolink, Reolink Cloud, Freedompop, T-Mobile and others but have no idea on how much data we would need and who offers the best cloud storage options.
Can others here suggest based on their experiences.
Thanks,

@jb Hi there, thank you for reaching out. The 4G cellular services and SIM cards are for data transmission and the cloud service is for video storage.
Generally speaking, each 4G camera may use 1GB of data per month. You may contact local network carriers and see what data plan they offer. You may also check which network carrier offers the best cellular signal at your location.
In terms of cloud storage, you may click here to learn more about our cloud services and plans, https://cloud.reolink.com/. Let us know if you have any questions. -
@reolink-lorenz Can you tell me how the sim card and data card vs cloud are all related? I have 2 cameras I've been using for a couple years with the 5gb T-mobile plan each, never hit the limit. They have their own memory cards in them. Just bought a new cam for a different use and didn't do the card but rather the cloud, and within just a few days I got an email saying that my data usage was at 80%. Also, the cloud account I did was the free storage of 1gb and it's already full, but doesn't seem to be overwriting like I thought it's supposed to. What's going on?
