Hello to everyone,I have 4 RLC-823A.My recording on my NAS client via direct recording PC Client or FTP is ok and works perfectly. But I've a problem with the recording format size:the pictures are ok, but the video in mp4 format are and not the full size, it's a square size!I've the same problem with the videos from FTP and with the direct recording PC client.this is a capture of the capture recorded (ok, good format):and here a capture of one of the video and the format size is wrong! (square)Why is it like this?So a big important part of the recording is missing. And another point: I can read the video only with VLC, impossible with Windows media player (no video, but the file is reading...)All these problems are the same for my 4 cameras...And the only solution is to change Stream Clear resolution to 2560*1440 instead of 3840*2160 in order to have a full recording file readable with windows media player but without duration!!The same file in VLC is still a square size but the duration is ok.... I absolutely don't understand that....maybe a bug on the recording file process..?! Don't know...and I loose the benefit of the best clear resolution...it's stupid. So thank you to tell me if you have the same recording problem, and if solved it, how did you do?!Techncial support answered me this, but it didn't explain the problem between the players software (WMP and VLC):This issue of viewpoint change that you mentioned is currently a known issue for us.The engineer told me that this is due to the design of the product, it seems that the screen will become like this at high resolution, and there is no setting to change this for now.I'm sorry about this, and I'll give feedback to the engineers in the hope that they can solve this problem in the future.Again, I'm sorry.Thank you for your help and support,Florent
Nobody seems to have this problem?Anybody from Reolink to help about that?Thank you very muchFlorent
OK so we found the problem, it's a VLC wrong configuration...Here is the bad configuration:He is the good configuration, as you can see in the background, so it works!
