I just got a set of Reolink RCL-810A cameras and upgraded the firmware on one of them to the newest firmware. I'm regularly locked out of the camera though, since it seems to throttle logins, and one of my integrations is using the RSTP feed which is using HTTP Basic auth. The integration will start throwing errors after a few seconds, and then I can't to login to the camera via https for at least 15-20 minutes. It shows an error code of -105, and says "Frequent logins, please try again later!" I couldn't find anything on Google or the forums about this.Looking at the release notes, it says:
Increased the function of locking the device: The device will be locked for 2 seconds after logging in with an incorrect password to improve login security and prevent malicious attacks
This doesn't exactly explain the behavior I'm seeing, but I assume it's related. A large portion of notes in this update focus heavily on security fixes/improvements. I can't stress enough how much I support Reolink improving the security of their devices, but unfortunately this firmware version is unusable for me. This means I am not getting those security features, and other other updates in this patch, like the ML models.Has anyone else experienced this?Is this a known issue or already on the roadmap?
This happened for me straight away after upgrading and entering the camera's custom login, and then because that was no longer valid as "Update Configure File" resets the password, it wouldn't even accept the blank password for several minutes afterwards.
Although I can't seem to get it to lock me out again now that I've successfully logged in.
Oh my downgrade attempt from v220.127.116.114 to v18.104.22.1684 worked so that's why I wasn't getting locked out. v22.214.171.1244 locks out the user immediately after it reboots to the new firmware with the web interface and if the locked expires and I enter an invalid login I am locked out again even trying from another computer.
