So got this camera last week, so far love the quality over my last terrible camera.Got the app for windows 10 and for my android phone.Have the sensitivity pretty high, as its a private walkway to the house, I have a 32GB card in the camera, my pc is on all the time so in the windows app, I went to the settings, record settings and set it to record all the time, picked a folder and away it went. However, since it's new and I like to double-check things, I went through the footage manually and found large gaps in the recordings. For today for example, without going through the rest of it, i have a recording stop at 3.28pm, there is then a 3-hour gap before the next recording.I picked this as the example as at 5.10pm i arrived home with my son, which seems to have been completely missed.Tomorrow ill go up the ladders grab the micro sd to see if the card caught it, just wondering if this is a setting or a glitch or what ? recordings.jpgsetting-1.jpgsettign-2.jpg
Would help to know which model of camera this is. (Reolink sells so many different models)Generally speaking, when you go into Playback mode, the camera shows what is on the SDCard, so climbing the ladder should product the same results.
Hi there, its in the title. Reolink RLC-520. Im wondering if It is the setting in the record mode, its not overly clear at the bottom with motion, timer or off ?
(duh) Sorry. I have some RLC-420-5MP which should be similar. From the picture, your camera is set to record Motion for every hour of the week. When you click on the Time button (Yellow) and then click in an hour square, the square will turn yellow and record constantly. If the square is Grey, then no recording for that hour.
Omg, thank you, ill change that and give it another whirl, not rocket science however the old camera was no where near as feature-full as this in my defence. Thanks buddy will let u ken how I get on
Seems to be functioning now, thanks
