Hi — I’m trying to get a 10-camera system which I bought a couple of years ago configured and on line. The Hardware No. of my unit is H3MB18. (I got the model number and Hardware No by doing copy/paste operations from the Info panel of Reolink Client.) The web interface that’s served by the firmware as shipped needs Adobe FlashPlayer, and I have found and downloaded the firmware update NT98312_NVR_16IP_REOLINK_L300_148_21100910.pak which supplies a UI based on HTML5. I have unzipped the file and tried to install the update both from the Reolink Client program and from the old webpage. That operation fails every time I’ve tried it. I’ve downloaded the ZIP file and unpacked it several times, and have rebooted the NVR several times also. I have found references to a procedure for updating the NVR from USB, and have formatted a thumb drive as an FAT32 volume, which is empty except for the .pak file. The storage device is recognized through the web interface, but I don’t see any “Update by USB” choice in either the web interface or the Client program. At this point I could use some help, please! Thanks.

As a hunch, I just tried to update with the previous version of the file, and that worked correctly. It looks like there’s a problem with the most recent version.

@paulweiss_521058644095113 To update the NVR, you can also try to update it from the NVR monitor. In the NVR monitor, you can use a USB to update the firmware.
