Dear Members...My house was broken recently and I am looking for a reliable camera system once after this I got one and had to return because had poor video quality, lots of false positive alarms and very limited numbers of videos available (just a week more 1000 videos). The system I had was from one of the biggest security companies in US and they were at home trying to adjust that crap more than 4 times..I have been looking and I wish buying Reolink however I am afraid because I sent messages to support center asking about technical aspects but I have never received any answer back. So, you guys that are current customer could you help please?
Although I am using only one RLC-422 since 2 weeks, I am trying to answer you questions:
if you send email to their support email, they reply pretty quick, but not on forum, it seems not many people checking posts here
Yean, that's right you have to try-and-error and test the motion detection in your case. You should adjust the sensitivity with a little patience so that the system does react and record when people go across the cam and when the lighting condition or some little insects moving forward will not trigger the cam to record. Once you have done this you will be conforted and eased of much trouble ever since. Anyway I think Reolink is a reliable survilance system overall. And they do have a group of people answering questions from customers. Lol.
