Pushing image through Gmail?
-
I've got a Argus 3 Pro camera that I would like to use gmail to sent out the image through. The ISP I currently have doesn't play well with the Argus cameras. A lot of times the image is corrupted in encoding so it doesn't send a jpg file just text data. Also, it keeps getting flagged as spam. So, a while ago, I had my Argus 2 camera pushing just fine through gmail but about 6 months ago Google sent out a message saying they the device would be incompatible with their security upgrades. I did get a procedure on how to configure my camera(s) to use gmail from Reolink Support but it was for an old version of Gmail and a lot of the settings didn't match.
So, has anyone been successful in connecting Argus cameras to Gmail to send out images since the update or have a new procedure on how to configure Gmail to allow the Argus to push through it?
Thanks,

I have four Argus 2, a RLC-511w, RLC-823a and a RLC-810a cameras that required me to change to Gmail's two step verification and get a App password for the Reolink stuff. And I get no spam messages from my ISP.
This worked for me when I switched over last May.

ADDED EDIT:
I should also add that I use Thunderbird as my Email client and I had to generate a Gmail two step verification App password for it to connect to my four Gmail accounts.
