      I have the record setting to start record before motion event detected 1 min.
      This only works at night.
      All day recording and all cameras have no recording before motion.
      When the night light on it record before motion.
      Why does it wotk only at night?
      Only started happening yesterday.
      Had the nvr for 6 weeks.

        What's your NVR and camera system information? What's the bitrate you set? If the bitrate is set too high, the pre-record time will be shorter. You can try to lower the bitrate.

          Yes i did change the bitrate form 6144 to max 8192 to try to remove the ghosting.
          I put it back to 6144 and that fixed the problem.
          I have RLN8-410 NVR
