Hi, I have RLK8-800B4 kit and I want to add RLC-811A camera to this package.

      Spec. of the NVR is:
      model: RLN8-410-E
      hw: H3MB16
      fw: v2.0.0.142_19090408101

How can I you use the two-way audio option of the camera ( RLC-811A or RLC-812A) on my NVR and how can I use the speaker via the mobile App?

@amir-kolahchi_548512805965980 Hi there, if you connect the RLC-811A directly to the RLN8-410-E, the two-way audio and siren are not able to use. If you do want to use these functions, you can connect the camera to a PoE switch, which is under the same router as the NVR. Then you can add the camera both to the NVR and the Reolink APP as a standalone. In this situation, you can use these two functions and record to the NVR at the same time.

So is TP-Link TL-SG1005P switch good enough for RLC-812A camera?

If yes, how can I :
1- Add and record RLC-812A on my NVR?
2- Use RLC-812A speaker via Reolink App?

Please make sure that the PoE injector/switch is 802.3af compliant (48V) and supports active mode.

Yes, you can record the camera to the NVR and use the speaker in the APP as a standalone camera.

@reolink-fiona Hello, I did connect RLC-812A to the Reolink PoE Injector, under the same router as NVR.
I can see the camera in NVR.
Also I can add the camera as standalone device to the App, but the App requires a new password. As soon as I add the password, camera is disconnected from NVR and in IP channel menu of NVR, the Status of the camera is shown as Invalid PW.

How can I solve this issue?

Can you try to connect the camera like this?

This is exactly what I did. Then I can see the camera on NVR. Also I can add the camera as a new device on the App, but new password is required and as soon as the new password is entered in the App, video is lost from NVR.

@Reolink-Fiona Please, why can't the siren be set when the device is connected to the NVR? Can't this feature be added? Via PoE the settings for the siren work.

@amir-kolahchi_548512805965980 When you set up the camera password, you need to input the camera password in the NVR. Click the "modify" on the NVR monitor first.

@tomáš-kupr_495117657354378 What's your NVR firmware version and hardware version? You can upgrade your NVR firmware to the latest version v3.0.148 if your hardware version is H3MB18/N3MB01/N2BM02. Then you will see the siren function. Please download the firmware on the download center, Download Center – Reolink.

@reolink-fiona Please do not forget that I am using RLN8-410-E.
UI of my NVR is different with your images. Where can I add new camera password?

When I go to the IP channel tab, I see that the Cam is listed there. I guess it is listed because I was using that camera directly on NVR. After I added the new camera as a standalone device on the app (also kept the cables on the home network and not on the NVR, according to your schematic), then I see this status on the IP channel tab. the status is Invalid PWD and is not modifiable.

Is there any other tab menu that I should set up the camera password?

@amir-kolahchi_548512805965980 Please try to follow this guide, https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004346714-How-to-Make-Reolink-WiFi-Cameras-Work-with-Reolink-PoE-NVRs.

You can just click and drag the slider to the right to input the password.
