      Hi,

based on the articels I read my understand is the following:
If I add a PoE camera to a PoE NVR from reolink I will lose the option to access and configure them standalone.
My idea was to use the sdcard from the cams as a "backup" and access them if the NVR gets stolen.

So I need to connect them over a seperate PoE Switch and then add them over the local network adress they getting from the router.
Then there is the ability to use all together - correct?

      Best regards

Yes, if you connect the camera under a switch under the same router of the NVR, you can add the camera to the APP and NVR simultaneously.

But if you just want to record the videos to the HDD and the SD card simultaneously, you don't need to use the switch. The camera videos will record to the SD card and the NVR at the same time if you connect the camera directly to the NVR.
