      Hello,

I understand that the Argus 2 can't upload a continus live feed on a FTP server because of battery comsumption and such but I would like to have the possibility to set up a remote ftp server so the camera could upload the video captured during a motion detection. The video could be uploaded after the file is created on the SD card.

Since Reolink My Cloud is not available in Europe and with no possibility to access the SD Card remotely by any way, this camera is kinda pointless in Europe since you have to physically move to get the record.

      So to sum up, either:

      - Add the possibility to add a remote ftp server so the camera could upload video captured during motion detection on the server.
      - Add the possibility to access the sd card remotely via a standard protocol like http(s), ftp whatever.

      Thank you

Sorry for the inconvenience. You can access the SD card remotely by playback videos on Reolink App. And then you can download the recordings to your phone. Read on Playback Recordings via Reolink App to learn more.

The app is good but, well, it's an app. It's far from a standard protocol that could integrate well with other system. The app don't support bulk download, it's a fastidious task as you have to manually download each video.

The problem is that there is currently no way to automate things or even give us a way to do it.

The proprietary aspect of the Argus 2 prevent this camera to be usable in a pro environnement.

The battery-powered camera can't work with other third-party software because that will drain the battery quickly. And sorry that you can't bulk download the videos via Reolink app at present, but you can take out the Micro SD card and download those videos on the computer. Sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. I will forward those suggestions to our R&D team, and they will improve them in the future. Hi,
I also would like to have the suggested feature. Is there any chance to have it in the future for the Argus 2?

The feature is already available for other models. Probably it just needs to be enabled for Argus 2? 😉

I checked with the R&D team and it seems they have no plan at present to add this feature to the battery product line. Sorry for this restriction. : (
