Hi, i have two 4K RLC-811a Cameras hooked up to an NVR. Both are set To a maximum bitrate of 8192 kbps. One of the cameras reaches the Max bitrate of 8192 kbps. The other gives a maximum around 4300 kbps.
Does anybody have an idea what the probleem could be?

@user_632641559548022_632641559548022 I would check the cable runs are free from any EMI/RF noise. I have discovered that bps can be affected if you have a network cable run past a noisy DC adapter in a cupboard. Silly, but true.

@user_632641559548022_632641559548022 Cameras use variable bit rate which means the bit rate will fluctuate in value depending on what’s happening in the scene. More activity or motion leads to a higher value of bitrate. Less activity leads to a lower value of the bitrate. You may check this by exchanging the location of the cameras. Assuming you have set the resolution, fps, etc the same for both cams.

Hi, thanks for the input. I juist found the “issue”. During night time, one camera was in night mode, the other one was in colour mode due to ambient lights.
In night mode the bitrate is just lower. During daytime the bitrate is as it should be.
