I don't know why the ability to draw motion detection zones exists for the other Reolink cameras, but not the battery powered ones. Please give the Battery powered cameras this very important feature. Thanks
Hello,Because the working principle of the battery-powered camera is different from other cameras. It is triggered by the PIR sensor.I will also forward your feedback to our R&D department to make an improvement in the future.
Ring is now doing this with their battery operated, PIR spotlight cam. Check out LifeHakster's YouTube video on this. It didn't used to be this way, but they did add it, so I would think Reolink could do the same. Not having this and person detection makes it tough when not installed in a perfect scenario per Reolink's documentation. In a lab, it's easy to setup optimally...not so much in the real-world.
