      Hi there,

I had just the situation where I walked across the terrace, set up a small ladder and disconnected the camera from the power to insert a SD card. Although an alarm was triggered, the video was neither saved in the cloud nor on the local FTP here in the network.

So a burglar could just dismantle the camera at his leisure and I would have no picture and no video of it. The camera is then also inaccessible.

Of course, that is not the purpose of a surveillance camera.

Do you have any solution for this behaviour? Is it possible to save shorter video clips?

Edit: It is the E1 Outdoor

      Best regards
      Roman

@roman-gomilsek_615277607907592 if you received the push message notification for the detected object (person/motion) and recording was activated for the object type then you should have got the video in the cloud and ftped to your ftp server. If not then there was an issue in the transport which is common to both the cloud and the ftp server.

Did you check the logs of the ftp server to see if cam tried to log on?
