For some reason, after turning off HTTPS mode and turning ON http mode, it seems something got messed up. When trying to factory reset from the App and the client (which according to the Reolink official instructions says will reset everything), it seems the same static IP is being used and HTTPS mode does not get turned back on.

So now I have to rent a boom lift, probably drop a few thousand dollars, and reset the camera manually using reset hardwired switch. Can anyone tell me why this is happening before I have to do this? Really frustrating that the factory reset mode is not working as advertised, and is only resetting the accounts and other small stuff.

@matttewell_629316336427583 When you restore the camera through the application all the parameters are set to their default values with the exception of networking. This is so as not to lose connectivity with the camera. Check that the camera has the most recent firmware and if not upgrade it. Did you contact Reolink support?

A solution would be to upgrade the camera with the same firmware.....if there is no newer one and it is hard to perform a hard reset.
