I'm using the Reolink Go PT 4G at the moment and I'm happy with the performance and features of the camera so far. However, the camera is not recommended for always-on recording due to it being battery powered and it is not recommended by Reolink to keep permanent power to the camera via a USB supply.-Might Reolink consider either adding 3G/4G capability to some of their existing hard-wired or PoE powered cameras or introduce a line of cameras that are always-on, always recording to SD, powered not by a battery but powered either via USB, 12v input or via PoE and have 3G/4G capability for remote live viewing, email alerts, cloud upload, etc... ?-A use case would be on a remote construction site where there are numerous methods to keep a small camera powered all the time (12v or USB supply from a machine, PoE from network switch, etc...) but where the 3G/4G capability would allow easy remote access and data upload. The reason I'd opt for 3G/4G handled by the camera too is that Reolink devices are supported by V by Vodafone natively whereas these SIMs would not be supported by an external modem connected to the camera.
We really appreciate your feedback. We will forward your suggestions to the R&D team.
