My video doorbell doesn't always trigger night vision with infra red but stays in color. To trigger it most times I have to turn on my terrace external light for a few seconds and then turn it off. Night illumination is fairly low and I don't have this problem with my other Reolink cameras. I think Reolink has to increase the sensitivity a little more. Anybody else having this problem?

@miragecy_488743704580270 they should make the light sensor sensitivity adjustable. I have the video doorbell and the IR is activated at late evening. Can you relocate the doorbell to a position where there is less illumination at night?

If you have a visitor will you be able to see the person in full colour? If yes then you do not need IR.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Unfortunately I cannot relocate my doorbell but anyway the illumination would be the same. In color mode I can see the visitor (not very clear) but illumination is low enough to justify the IR trigger. Also I like the white led that turns on with IR activation indicating the button. Yes, we need light sensor sensitivity.
